Welcome to Vidsta. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website (www.vidsta.com.au), booking platform (app.vidsta.co), and our creative services.
By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Terms & Conditions - The Basics
1. Services
Vidsta provides professional video and photo production services, including one-off projects, retainer packages, and strategic content support. Detailed service inclusions and pricing are outlined on our platform.
2. Bookings and Payments
All projects require a 50% non-refundable deposit to confirm your booking.
The remaining balance is due upon project completion and prior to final delivery.
Rates are quoted exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
Payment can be made via the Vidsta platform, direct invoice, or bank transfer.
3. Cancellation Policy
Refer to our full Refund Policy for details. In summary:
Cancellations made 7+ days prior may be rescheduled with no penalty.
Cancellations within 7 days may incur a 25% fee.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable.
4. Revisions and Approvals
Each video project includes two rounds of revisions unless otherwise agreed.
Additional revisions beyond this may incur extra charges at our standard editing rate.
Final approval is required before project delivery. Once approved, no further changes will be accepted unless quoted separately. Unless otherwise agreed, editing requires a 5 day turn around after we receive a request or have finished shooting. We can edit faster, and slower, upon agreeance.
5. Intellectual Property
Vidsta retains the right to use any content created for promotional or portfolio purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Upon full payment, clients receive a royalty-free license to use the final deliverables for the intended purposes discussed.
Raw footage remains the property of Vidsta unless purchased separately.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients must: Provide clear briefs and access to required locations, deadlines for editing, talent, or assets.
Review drafts and provide timely feedback.
Ensure all permissions, releases, and approvals are in place for featured people or property.
Client Delays;
If a project is delayed due to lack of input, delayed approvals, or other client-side issues, delivery dates may be pushed back. Vidsta reserves the right to pause or reprioritise other projects until input is received.
7. Platform Use - vidsta.com.au
When using the Vidsta platform, users must:
Provide accurate information
Refrain from sharing login credentials
Use the platform for lawful purposes only
We may suspend or terminate your access if we suspect misuse or a breach of these Terms.
8. Liability and Disclaimer
While we strive for excellence, Vidsta is not liable for:
Delays due to factors beyond our control (e.g., weather, illness, equipment failure)
Indirect or consequential losses
Content performance on third-party platforms
We provide services in good faith and with professional care, but do not guarantee specific marketing results from the use of content.
9. Confidentiality
We respect your confidentiality and expect the same in return. Any sensitive information shared during the project will be handled securely and discreetly.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with Australian legal standards.
Vidsta is not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, pandemics, equipment failure, or illness.

Content Engine
Retainer & Subscription Terms (Content Engine Packages)
Monthly packages (Growth, Scale, Dominate) require a minimum 12-month commitment unless otherwise agreed.
Billing recurs monthly and can be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice.
Unused content, shoot hours, or deliverables do not roll over unless approved in writing.
Discounts for annual payments apply as agreed. Payment is due on the first of the month, and Vidsta retains the right to pause works upon non-payment.
