Unforgettable Adventures: Capturing Subway Australia's Epic Journey Through 18 Iconic Locations on a Budget

This project was nothing short of thrilling as we set off on an incredible journey with Subway Australia's activation partner. Covering 18 unique locations. Imagine a bus designed to look like a giant meatball sub, towing a smaller Big Mac. It was certainly a sight that caught the eyes of passing traffic! This one-of-a-kind activation aimed to showcase Subway's expanding range of lunch options, and we were eager to capture every moment.


We assembled an impressive team of 18 skilled videographers and 18 photographers, all set to document the fun at each stop. From Cairns in the north to Melbourne in the south, our mission was to celebrate local giant landmarks while highlighting Subway’s giant subs.

Unleashing Fun at Each Iconic Landmark


As we traveled through stunning landscapes, we made sure to celebrate each unique stop at Australia’s famous “big things.”


Each stop transformed into an opportunity for creativity and laughter. Our energetic crew refueled with Subway’s free giveaways at each activiation.



Navigating Through Iconic City Landscapes


No adventure would be complete without embracing the urban essence of Australia. Our crew shifted gears from regional icons to urban masterpieces, with the Sydney Opera House shining as a standout highlight. Stopping right in front of this remarkable structure, we captured stunning images of our meatball sub bus framed by the iconic sails.


Our eye-level shots, juxtaposed with this breathtaking backdrop, told a compelling visual story. It showed that Subway is more than just a meal destination; it’s intertwined with the vibrant culture and lifestyle of Australia.


As we arrived in bustling Melbourne, another capital pulsating with creativity, we took a moment to appreciate its arts, cuisine, and innovation. This city was the perfect conclusion to our exciting journey.

Creating content across 18 locations in such a short timeframe was more than just a task; it was a creative collaboration with our client and crew. Each photographer and videographer played a vital role in shaping not only the images but also the entire narrative of Subway’s activation.

Overcoming Challenges


Despite the demanding schedule, we faced no issues. Effective planning, coordination, and our shared enthusiasm kept everything running smoothly as we transitioned from one location to the next. It was a testament to the creativity and adaptability of our team, all passionate about delivering a fantastic experience.


By the end of this journey, we returned with over 1,000 photos and hours of footage that highlighted not only how great Subway's offerings are but also the cultural richness of Australian landmarks.
